Recent video for the launch of Dublin Learning City Festival. Dublin is applying for membership of the Global Network of Learning Cities and this festival was organised to highlight learning initiatives around the city.
Dublin Learning City is a cross-institutional consortium, comprising IADT, Marino Institute of Education, NCAD, TCD & UCD. Dublin Learning City in collaboration with Dublin City Council and other education and community stakeholders in the city will deliver and co-ordinate the Dublin Learning City Concept across the city, including a week long Learning Festival and a Creative Arts Summer School. The overarching aim of this initiative is to establish sustainable intergenerational learning communities in the city and to work towards developing a strategy to attain the award of UNESCOLearning City for Dublin.
